I.Charter

1. Declares purposes/ things we want to accomplish
   
2. Housing representatives could be elected every semester

II.Jay’s new title

III.Issues to address

1. Run of the campus?
   
   
   
   • No one is allowed to be by her/himself
     
   
   
2. Girls in 314 don’t have bathroom trashcans
   
3. Maybe we should get the housing people links to Blackboard
   
   
   
   • They may have it but don’t know it
     
   
   
4. Blogspot or Facebook to post minutes and comments
   
   
   
   • Manna will look into it
     
   
   
5. Survey
   
   
   
   • Possibly put on SurveyMonkey
     
   • Or could be given out during module times
     
   • Email questions to Ms. Suddath next Tuesday
     
   
   
6. Each SGA member contributes $5 every month
   
   
   
   • Every other Friday we will have money to order pizza or something
     
   • Or we could buy sandwich stuff
     
   • Extra money could be donated to charities
     
   • Or we could get a “senior class gift”
     
   
   

IV.Dividing up responsibilities

1. Ethan’s in charge of Tuesday informal meetings
   
2. Gina will make survey questions
   
3. Ethan and Shuvam will distribute surveys
   
4. Jay will draft the charter
   
5. We still need to think of responsibilities for the Reps

I.First official SGA meeting

1. Formation of surveys
   
2. Meetings Tuesday at the library 6:15
   
   
   
   • And Friday during lunch
     
     
     
     1. Our first “official” meeting with Ms. Suddath and cottage
        reps will be this week
        
     2. Treasurer will come up with a meal plan for Fridays
        
     
     
   • Tuesdays will be open meetings. Anyone can come.
     
     
     
     • That’s okay with teachers! :D
       
     • Gina will email students about meetings
       
     
     
   • Facebook SGA group?
     
     
     
     • We could post our minutes

     • Only lost by three votes
       
     • Maybe we should appoint him as sergeant-at-arms
       
     
     
   
   

II.Charter/Constitution

1. Everyone should think of ideas and bring them to the next meeting
   
2. Constitution may include the power of sergeant-at-arms to impeach
   

III.Ideas

1. Starting a band
   
2. Fundraising for volunteering
   
   
   
   • Must be internal fundraising
     
   
   
3. For not-open meetings two non-SGA students will be invited
   
   
   
   1. The same people can’t be invited twice
      
   2. We tell people who we’re inviting so the students
      
      can talk about it at first
      
   3. The invitees won’t be allowed to talk until the end
      
   
   
4. Communication!
   
   
   
   • Cottage 310 never gets information
     
   • One house manager could come every Tuesday
     
   
   
5. House reps will be student messengers
   
6. We need to start up clubs
